Getting Started

Basic supplies are only needed. The list below offers a wide variety of options, the basic tools are in bold:

• -Canvas / Wood Panel / Basic Paper / Watercolor Paper
• -Elmers Glue / Modge Podge Glue / Liquitex or Golden Acrylic Medium Glue* 
• -Magazine Paper* 
• -Scissors / Exacto Knife
• -Ruler or Straight Edge
• -Pen or pencil
• -Gloves or finger cots

 *A Note About Magazines: Feel free to pre-sort magazine pages and strips of color prior to class. This step is not necessary, but I know many of my students like to feel prepared.

*Optional Glue Upgrade for those interested:

Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish (this also comes in matte and satin)

Golden Medium Glue
